Michael Stones

Michael John Stones (born April 26, 1947) was a British born geropsychologist, athlete and researcher. He is an Emeritus Professor at Lakehead University. Stones is best known in academia for his contributions to gerontology and has published several books, book chapters and over 140 scientific papers. He has primarily conducted research on psychological well-being, healthy aging, physical performance, elder abuse, sexuality, and the use of health informatics to promote quality of care in later life.
