Emanuel Schegloff

Emanuel Abraham Schegloff (July 24, 1937 – May 23, 2024) was an American sociologist who was a distinguished professor of sociology at the University of California at Los Angeles. Along with his collaborators Harvey Sacks and Gail Jefferson, Schegloff is regarded as a co-creator of the field of conversation analysis. Provided by Wikipedia
