Darshan (Indian religions)

A ''darshana'' literally means a 'sight' or 'view'. In a [[Hindu temple In Indian religions, a ''darshan'' (Sanskrit: दर्शन, ; 'showing, appearance, view, sight') or ''darshanam'' is the auspicious sight of a deity or a holy person.
